Tiphannie Craig is a Level 3 certified personal trainer in Aberdeen, specialising in weight loss, sustainable strength, and coaching for special populations. Based at PureGym Kittybrewster, she helps people in Aberdeen, Old Aberdeen, and Woodside build strength, lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way, and develop a mindset that says strong not skinny.

I've personally battled anxiety, self-doubt, and the pressure to fit unrealistic body standards.

Through movement, discipline, and support, I've discovered that strength is about so much more than appearance — it's about showing up for yourself even when it's hard. No, you don't need any gym experience. I tailor every session to your current fitness level and build your confidence from day one — most of my clients started out feeling exactly the way you do now. Never stepped foot in a gym? Perfect. That's my favourite place to start.
Special populations means clients who benefit from extra care in their programming. That could be anyone managing anxiety, returning from an injury, going through a health transition, or who has found mainstream fitness overwhelming. My approach is empathy-first and evidence-based — no one-size-fits-all workouts, no pushing through pain for the sake of it.
Not in a miserable way. I teach sustainable nutrition that works with your life — no crash diets, no foods off-limits, no guilt. The goal is fuelling your body so you feel strong, not starving yourself smaller. If counting helps you, great. If it doesn't, we'll use other tools.
You'll have a relaxed chat with me at PureGym Kittybrewster. I'll ask about your goals, any health considerations, and what's worked (or not worked) for you before. Most clients feel stronger and more energised within the first 3-4 weeks. Visible body changes typically follow between weeks 6-12, depending on your starting point and consistency. I track progress every fortnight so you always know you're moving forward — even in the weeks the mirror lies to you.
